The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications at the moment are open and will close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a house using a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic income does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and wish not post any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The nsfas check NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the right Id Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected within their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are researching or intend to study at a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously nsfas application and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
